AV
prints.co.uk introduce four detailed 12in x 16in prints of the North American P51D Mustang, the most
famous fighter to have flown during the second world war. During the aerial bombardment of occupied
Europe, the long-range escort fighters of “The Mighty Eight” helped protect the Flying Fortresses and Liberators, from preying ME109, FW190
and ME262 fighters of the German Luftwaffe. When not defending their own, the “Little Friends” harassed enemy airfields and lines
of communication. |
